Linux Foundation Training and Certification has released Antitrust Laws and Open Source Software Project Management and Participation (LFC105), a one-hour video course by Andrew Updegrove, Founding Partner at Gesmer Updegrove LLP. Trainees will gain basic understanding of what antitrust and competition laws are all about, and how they apply to open source development. It will also cover best practices of safe collaboration and the types of activities that should be avoided.
A complementary webinar recording focused on standards development organizations has also been released. Participants of Joint Development Foundation Series projects are encouraged to take the training course and watch the webinar.
